i recomend u tune it urself..then try driving it then tune again. i just asked a fellow senior fren who used to drive a 1982 mazda 323 till recently about carb tuning. turning the idle mixture screw clockwise will make the mixture richer while anti clockwise will make it more lean...save more petrol but for my case it'll b more jerky. try adjust urself to ur liking but dun turn the screw too much...bit by bit and test drive it. engine mus b properly warmed up. but ur ignition timing must b correct also la...make sure no pinging and not too high nor too low.

for datsun 120Y original carb Hitachi 306, clockwise is lean, anti clock wise is rich

the air fuel mixture screw is for idle AFM only... good only for closed throttle.

for WOT, you got to change the jets in the carbs to larger ones for richer, smaller ones for leaner..

for my carbs currently (stock)

primary jet 137
secondary jet 150

as we're dricing in town, half the time it is close throttle due to pressing brakes, changing gear etc. this will utilize the idle circuit. so tuning the screw only will improve idling and fuel consumption on city driving.

if on WOT got jerking, then it is more to the primary and secondary jets leaning out. try water injection as solution ;)
