i recomend u tune it urself..then try driving it then tune again. i just asked a fellow senior fren who used to drive a 1982 mazda 323 till recently about carb tuning. turning the idle mixture screw clockwise will make the mixture richer while anti clockwise will make it more lean...save more petrol but for my case it'll b more jerky. try adjust urself to ur liking but dun turn the screw too much...bit by bit and test drive it. engine mus b properly warmed up. but ur ignition timing must b correct also la...make sure no pinging and not too high nor too low. |

:o aiseh man u wanna see how I tune my carb kah :unsure: slow bai car man only can hit 6K then cut off as fuel pump not enuf power anymore :( TT near PJ area I can help lar....... if I got d tools as I also dunno I only know how 2 tune Hitachi n Aisan carb :lol: |

murni can but no place to test your car man after tuning later aiseh kena ppls car buntut :lol: anyway are u using Hitachi carb or some aisan carb I tune based on my simple knowledge wor........ :unsure: give u a rough idea how my idle is 900 rpm + slightly richer tuning for high rev yum yum B) but not as fast as CA18 engine :lol: |

eh can if u guys able to make it this sunday morning..lol...but i nid sum1 lead me there...any1? bro volvo dunno wan o not..lol... 120y stock carb is hitachi...i dunno whether its DCG306 or DCH306...most b310 in overseas is DCH eh...electric choke 1...mine jus replaced with DCG306..manual choke...only smooth when car is properly warmed lo..but owes start on the 1st click without touching the acclerator pedal pun.... |

Hitachi carb hmmm...... a bit tricky to tune the a/f but can be done ;) as my grandpa taught me how 2 tune d fellow :unsure: |
