Hail Sir Post-A-Lot !

Hey guys, it's been a long time. Wouldn't be surprised if some of you don't remember me at this point, haha. I got on RS tonight to catch up with friends and started talking to Lightbrand--an overwhelming sense of nostalgia came over me so I figured I would come tell you what's going on in my life.

It's pretty awesome to see that you guys are having success in school, jobs, etc. I've honestly never seen that in any other community . . . goes to show how awesome we are. How is school going for me? I'm approaching the end of my Junior year in high school and I currently have JUST UNDER a 4.0 cumulative GPA. I'm taking my final trimester of AP Composition and AP US History. I'm also finishing up my math credits with my final trimester of Pre-Calculus. The rest of my classes are a little less challenging, but I try to keep them academic in nature. I recently took up video production as a hobby and a class. On just my first major video project, our group managed to slide into the top 3 in an all-area high school video competition. Other than that, I took my ACT at the beginning of this year and managed a composite score of 28, putting me in the 91st percentile. I plan on retaking it one more time at the end of this school year and am hoping for a score of 30.

Next year, my plan is to take AP Literature, AP Calculus, Physics and clean up any other required classes (Econ, Gov, Senior Forum). As I have high aspirations to go to college, I've already began the hunt. I've narrowed the search down to my top 5:
1.) Pacific University
2.) University of Washington
3.) Oregon State University
4.) Oregon Institute of Technology
5.) University of Oregon

At the moment, I'm leaning heavily toward Pacific because I have a legitimate shot at playing football for a DIII school, but nowhere else. On top of that they have the best physical therapy program in the state, which would allow me to see my dream become a reality: come back to my hometown and work as a physical therapist while coaching football at the high school I'm attending. While I could basically just ask for a coaching job and get it, I know the physical therapy part is not a sure thing. That's why I'm leaving my options open; I'm still looking into every prestigious medical program in the area.

Off the topic of my schooling, I've been inactive from RS for about a year now, but I log in every few weeks to talk to friends. I always was an RS addict, but in the end it turned out to be just like a cigarette addiction. It got easier with every patch (update), lol. < Cheesy I know, but it's true. As I prepare for my Senior football season and my Senior year of high school, I have very little free time, but I'm going to make it a point to check these forums more often and make an occasional visit to #cxs.

Wanna know anything more? Ask.

Yea we remember you don't worry about that. Nice to have you back with us. Great to hear that life has been going so well for you and good luck finishing up high school. With all of those classes make sure to get out and have fun. Your time in high school is when life is the easiest for sure. Sounds like you have a great plan for the future though which will always help.

Couple of us are still active in #cxs and every now and then we get someone else. I'm sure with summer starting up soon more people will come back to it. And again nice hearing from you and we hope you stick around here.
