Has anyone played warhammer online yet? Age of Reckoning? It was released sept. 18, and it's supposed to be an upgraded version of WoW. I went to the store and it's pretty expensive. So did anyone play it? Gimme some feedback. |

Ok, so I really like this game. There is not much PvE, but there is a little bit. The game mostly focuses around RvR (Relm vs Relm) / PvP. Scenarios are games you can sign up and join any time (When it allows you in (Usually is instant or takes like 2-3 min)). But one thing that is awesome about RvR, you can battle for fortresses and keeps. They are basically normally what you would think a fortress as, big walls, huge gate. But the attacking team can use battering rams and cannons to destroy the enemy's walls and gats and other stuff. The pvp in the game is not about 1v1 though, it is mostly about group combat and fighting working together with your teamates, and fighting smart. The game classes are, melee dps, range dps, tanks, and healers. All of them make up a huge role in pvping. One thing I really liked about WAR is there is no classes that really share that same ability. Each class is its own abilities and special abilities. Some special abilities do seem to get shares though. Like a Sorceress and a Bright Wizard both have a bar that gets higher and higher, the higher it gets you get more crit and crit damage, but you also have a 50% of taking damage yourself from casting. There are two classes that have pets and ranged. There are 3 kinds of healers, melee dps healers, range dps healers, and just healer. The game is great because there is so much variety between classes. I personally like this game more then WoW. The PvE content isn't there, but the PvP is very fun. And if you really like pvp in that game, you can just level up with pvp, which is a cool addition. If you have any questions just ask. PS- The armor is awesome in this game.

Nothing like Oblivion, really kind of like WoW. Only like WoW with scenarios and BG are the same, with twists. And classes and factions, but WoW wasn't the first to do that. I like Warhammer more then WoW right now, I'll see which I like more at endgame. |
