Yeah they give a ethernet cable along with the system but if your router or w.e is far away you have to get a wireless adapter to connect wirelessly |

You just plug an ethernet cable into your router and then into your xbox, very easy. |

Omri I wouldn't recommend getting the wireless adapter unless you really need 1. 1st because its $100. Second, I talked to a guy at gamestop and he said that it was a waste of money. He said that a wireless adapter is half as fast and double as laggy as if you just plug in a cord. I'm not going to get it because I don't think its worth $100. I would agree with snipore and plug an ethernet cable into your router and then into your xbox. |

Slayer, my wireless adapter (which plugs into the usb port on the back next to the cable spot) was only $20 and it works wonderful :) |

The xbox 360 has the same chip in it as the ps3, except the one inside the xbox is more for smooth game play, the ps3 is for enhancing graphics/visual detail. And also, the chip in it doesn't have anything to do with the rings that turn red when the xbox detects an error... Most of the time, it's the xbox just overheating, the fans inside of the xbox are so small and can't keep the system cooled off. So it doesn't really have a good enough cooling system to keep it alive. Just don't play it in a warmer environment, or within 2 feet of any walls or surfaces besides the floor. One more thing, keep the xbox on its side rather than standing up, it'll let the air flow through the vents a little better. Those are probably the only things you should have to worry about if you get an xbox (I haven't really read any of the posts - maybe 2 or 3 but if someone already posted this, ).
