well i jus read it ; 1) We're absolutely NOT going to ban people who used such world-switchers historically. That would be completely unfair given we've only just mentioned this! We will of course give everyone plenty of chance to read and understand the rule, and get rid of such programs first. so ur not goin to be banned from using it

I'll answer this in two words: TBH IRDC but since I'm the bored f2p noob I am, I'll elaborate. Well, I don't blame them. some 3rd party clients such as tiko and whatever blocked the ads that came up on the runescape site in f2p. Yes, swiftswitch doesn't but you can click the up arrow to get rid of it. Jagex gets payed to have those adds in the faces of f2p players while they play runescape. If the companies paying for those adds find out they can be removed in one click, I doubt they'd pay as much to have their advertisement on there. So many of you may be saying it's not costing them money, or time, or players... but it can be, jagex obviously wouldn't tell us that was the problem because players wouldn't care if jagex earns their money from the advertisements so they claim it's because of hackings, which may be going on, but aren't as widespread as they may claim. |
