 on christmas eve, i was going to go for a visit to some family in the hills. we decieded to get up early, and hit this motocross track up for a few hours before i went to see the family. about 30min before were set to leave, i was following around my friend who's an intermediate (for the people that dont know, its one step below pro) and yea, i guess i was riding a bit over my head. i go into a whoops section, get sideways and go down haaaard. i come too, try to stand up and fall back down... i couldnt breathe because i knocked the wind out of myself. eventually the track workers get a rhino down there, and direct traffic around me and whatnot. they pull my bike off the track, and i get in the rhino to go back to the pits. im trying to catch my breathe, and i was getting worried because ive fallin quite a few times before, but usually after a few minutes you can breathe again. so im sitting in the truck, and i start coughin up blood. so im like, "oh snaps" and we go to the hospital. i go in the ER, they take my information down and whatnot...so they do the tests to see whats wrong, and they take a urine sample. turns out im peeing blood aswell. apparently in the fall i got a concussion, bruised lung, and severely bruised kidney. so it turns out i had to spend the night there, and i couldnt sleep with the the shit sticking out of me in various place's, so i only slept from 1-4ish because of the pain meds. after that i couldnt sleep, so i watched tv all night. and they had me on a diet of clear liquid only, so all i could eat was chicken broth(sp) and apple juice. well after 27 hours they let me go... so im at home now, i cant sit very good, and when i walk the impact hurts my kidney. so basically the next month or two ill be stuck at home. fun stuff right there.

oo that sucks man. i broke my leg playing ice hockey on the neighborhood pond on christmas eve way back when i was a freshman. i spent 2 days in there because they had to do surgery on it. hope u make a fast recovery |
