It started as a simple suggestion, but thanks to our wonderful Mods/Admins/Leaders, it is now OFFICIAL. [size=14]Costume Party ftw?[/size] Note: this is both a p2p and f2p event! It will take place on SUNDAY, the 29th at 4:00 PM in Lumbridge, World 85. [size=7]Come at least 15 minutes early![/size] Suggested outfits: A set of full zombie (from the random event). If you have completed the quest, Lunar Diplomacy, a set of full lunar is a quite sexy choice. Ghosty robes are a great costume too! [size=7]And, if you don't have any of the above, CREATE YOUR OWN OUTFIT! Just make it SPOOKY![/size] Well, not spooky enough to scare small children... So, unfortunately guys, dwarf short shorts are a no, no. :lol: Don't forget to bring along your "zombie heads" and spam the chat box with them. And feel free to wear Halloween masks... It's the spirit of the holiday remember? Of course, we could make a CONGO line and wander around the free worlds spamming "Cxs ftw" or "Join cxs" - but be aware that most players we would come across wouldn't have the requirements to join, and are free players. Spamming "Happy Halloween" seems like a much better idea. I am hoping for a big turn out, and this will be a great Halloween event. I'm posting this early for all those cXs members that don't have one of the mentioned costumes and need to get a set, or want to make one of their own. [size=7]Happy Halloween![/size] Your friend, Zombie ...Woops, I meant Xombie. [size=7]*Tip for Getting Full Zombie[/size] Go to the King Lathas training arena on a very full world. Stay inside the cage, and most of the time the rangers outside won't pick up their b bones. You just pick them up and bury them. It's amazing prayer exp, and you get a Gravedigger random at least once in 5 inventories of buried bones. I guarantee it. Not to mention all the $ from picking up those 1000's of iron knives... But I won't go into that. :lol: Did you know that it's possible to acquire a NEW set of LUNAR if you have LOST it? You can purchase replacement clothing from the Oneiromancer, near the Astral runecrafting alter, for about the same prices as Mystic robes. The body is 120k, the helm is 12k, the ring is 2k, etc. Other costume ideas, courtesy of Lightbrand: -BLUE DRAGON = blue mask + full blue d-hide + mith or rune rfd gloves + mith or rune boots + mith or rune claws + prefered cape + amulet -RED DRAGON = red mask + red d-hide OR full dragon + red canifis or rfd dragon gloves + red boots NOTE* For this outfit, there are no red claws, so either wield nothing or a prefered dragon weapon; such as a halberd. -GREEN DRAGON = full green d-hide + green mask + green canifis gloves or rfd adamant gloves + adamant or green boots + adamant claws - more difficult to get than rune; your best bet is to try the Offcial Runscape forums, or ask our fellow member 15bob51 ) -COUNTERSTRKE ftw? = gas mask + karil's x-bow +rouge's top and bottom + rogue boots + black rfd gloves -TONBERRY = Some video game fans out there will get this one, dont ask what it is... turn to the solution for almost everything: just "GOOGLE it", rofl. :lol: ) = frog mask + lit bug lantern + chef knife + green canifis gloves or adamant rfd gloves + green canifis or adamant boots (or just regular boots if u wanna be old-fashioned) + monk or green robes -WOLVERINE from the X-Men = enchanted hat + yellow Castle Wars top and bottom + mith rfd gloves + steel claws + boots of lightness OR PREFERABLY magic boots My personal favorite... -a DRUNK DUDE from Sweden/Germany = a robin hood hat + lederhousen top and bottem + some beer kegs if someone notices your costume -????????????? = (Dont tell anyone this costume if you know what it is, its just a gag basically. In fact... take this costume as a last resort... lmao) = rogue's facemask + black d-hide + black rfd gloves + vampyrewatch boots + whip + black defender
