Don't let ANYBODY except people you can beat up in real life know your password. Set your recovery quetsions so you can keep your account even if you get hacked. If you have membership by credit card write down your worldpay number to be able to prove it is your account. If you have an agreement number keep it. Get programs such as spybot which can help detect harmful shit, it's free. I also highly suggest norton antivirus. It's God at virus protection.

I've never been hacked.. and I haven't changed my recovery questions since Febuary of 2002..

Same here. I have yet to change them since the same time. Here are some tips.

1) Get a good virus scanner. (Norton Antivirus, AVG, etc.)
2) Change your password monthly/bi-monthly. Even if it is switching a few numbers around, adding capital letters, etc. it is still good.
3) Always check the "You last logged in _______ from ________. Check to see if your ISP's name is in there somewhere, for example my ISP's (internet service provider, such as aol, charter, comcast, etc.) ______.charter._____. If you see an unfamiliar ISP name in there, chances are you either logged in from someone elses computer, or someone was on your account.
4) If you suspect ANYTHING going odd with your char, change your password IMMEDIATELY.
5) NEVER and i mean NEVER give out your password to ANYONE. I have even heard cases of family members stealing their own bloods stuff.
6) Do not put your password into a macro typing program. If you are that lazy and you must, then make sure you disable it after logging in, and before chating ingame or on IRC.

How to keep your computer running smoothly.

1) Delete your internet cookies weekly. (For I.E. go to tools -> internet options -> Delete cookies -> Delete files.) (For Firefox go to -> tools -> options -> privacy -> cookies -> "clear cookies now" and then go to -> cache (to the right of cookies) -> clear cache now
2) Invest in a good anti virus program and/or anti-spyware program.
3) Go to start-> all prgograms -> Accesssories -> System Tool -> System deframenter and run it. It will take a whie, but it will clean up any orphaned files saving you space.
