That sound; What does it mean?

Toxokinetic Posts: 368 Group: Abductees Member #255 Joined: June 11, 2006	At the end, when Tom and Kyle hug, there's this weird little sound. I was wondering what people thought it might mean. Please, no, "It doesn't mean anything" responses. You don't go through the expense of adding in a sound effect--especially in a season with such spotty sound as this one--without it being intentional, having a purpose. So, my question is--what were they trying to convey by adding that sound? Thoughts?

I've just watched this ep thanks to you and can't say 100% what the sound meant. I'll read the other comments on the ep in general and then come back and wonder a bit before calling it a night. Ok... back for a sec. To me the sound was just kind of highlighting the 'crazy Kyle joins/starts/revives a cult' mood... hugging good old dad, but loving him more for being important in the book than for being dad! I'm probably reading into it... because that's what I'm seeing in Kyle these days anyway and it weirds me out... but it just seemed to add neon lights to his 'weirdom'. I mean... hey... I am a religious nut in the eyes of many people... but that boy is just making religious nuttyness look bad! I like Cassie... but she is sooo messing with him! Good or bad future person or nice neutral ability... the effect she is having on him is just not pretty. Kristy
