I didn't much care about him in the first season (sleeping with your brother's girlfriend?!  ), but the second season--wow! He did so many amazing things, grew in so many ways. I was kind of disappointed with how much they played the sex card in season three because I thought it distracted too much from Shawn's growth as a leader. Then again, maybe that was the intent. That he'd become involved with the Nova Group was also disappointing. I just hope he gets healed so he can keep growing into the young hero he's so capable of being.

I always blamed nikki for that more than shawn. She was all over him, its like she was almost stalking him even after both he and danny told her to leave him alone. |

I dunno. I go back and forth on him, but ultimately I voted "He's a good character but I don't like him." (Sorry for ruining your perfect result, heh. :blush:) The thing about Shawn is, I know he's well-intentioned, that he tries to do the right thing, but I still can't shake the feeling that he's just a little bit... skeevy, if you know what I mean. That whole Isabelle arc just confirmed that for me. (Seriously, she was a baby just months before they got to doing the nasty. Talk about 'robbing the cradle'!) Well, maybe this season will change my opinion of him.

I love Shawn, but it did bother me that he slept with Isabelle. Sure at first he said no, but I don't think he should have caved in, even if she kept trying to convince him. She was emotionally immature. Also, as you pointed out, Dawn, the fact that she was a baby a few months ago is a little creepy. But don't hate me everybody!  I do love him and I voted the first option.

Although it doesn't excuse his behaviour. In his defense he was extremely isolated, with pretty much no friends or really anyone to talk to. |

I have to say, Shawn's grown on me quite a bit this season. This last episode, with Collier saying the future gave him the right power, that he's always looking for the peaceful solution... it just struck me as very true. He's come a long way from the skeeze hitting on 2-year-old girls.  He seems to be one of the last sane 4400's left on this show. Everyone else is so polarized, they're either Jordan's disciple or working for NTAC (or worse). He's all alone out there, walking that middle road, and I have to admire him for that. |
