| First of All Use your common sense. <br><br> <b><u>Personal Attacks</u></b> Personal attacks against other members, are not allowed. Any personal attacks, name calling, innuendo, or anything resembling a personal attack is strictly prohibited. Feel free to disagree with another member's opinion or stance on an issue. However, it is never OK to insult a someone’s nationality, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or age. <br><br> <b><u>Privacy of Actors</u></b> Respect for the cast and crew of The 4400 is also important. Although criticism is fine, personal attacks are not. Please also respect their privacy. Do not post rumors or gossip about the actors. We respect the private lives of the actors involved in the show, as well as other celebrities. <br><br> <b><u>Thread/Posting Rules</u></b> 1. Threads will be closed after 50 pages. If you wish to continue discussion of this topic, create a new topic with the same title and add a “2” to it (or 3 or 4 etc., depending on how many topics there are already). 2. We request that you stay on topic in threads. 3. Do not plagiarize other people's works. Your posts should be your own. 4. Please do not multiple post - if you have another comment to add after posting, use the Edit button to add it to your existing post, especially if it's only been a short time since you posted, and/or no one has posted after you. 5. Spamming the forums by creating a thread or replying to a topic just to promote your site or any other site is prohibited. 6. Posting solely to promote your site (or a thread you created, fan fic you posted, etc.) is not allowed, though you may link to your site in your signature and in your profile. 7. Circumventing the forum filters will be cause for a warning. The filters are in place for a reason and inventing ways to bypass them is strictly off limits - for example, do not try and replace "a" with "@" or something similar to get by a censored word. 8. Please no useless posting to increase your post account. One word or one smiley posts are frowned upon. If you want to post something, please contribute to the thread with something more than one word or one smiley. Post for a purpose. Your post should in some way add to the community and the topic at hand. 9. Keep threads in the appropriate forums. Do not post a topic about The 4400 in the Other TV Shows forum. 10. Do not post the same topic in multiple forums - decide which forum best suits the topic and post it only once. 11. Please do not start threads where similar topics already exist. Also, please check the next few pages of the forum to make sure that there isn't a thread similar to the one that you're starting. 12. This board is open to anyone and everyone - therefore, posting of obscene images, subverting the forum censors, and/or blatantly ignoring the forum rules will not be tolerated. 13. Do not post 4400 spoilers in any forum other than the Spoilers forum. Spoilers are any information about upcoming episodes that has not aired. 14. Please do not type in 1337 form, CrAzY cApS, intentionally drop the letters in words, or otherwise make text unnecessarily hard or confusing to read. 15. Discussions about where or how to download episodes is expressly forbidden. Any links to sites or mention of how or where to download is not allowed and such threads will be closed. 16. Before replying, be sure to read at least the first few posts, and if possible the entire topic. People will be annoyed if you post something that has already been covered such as a question that was answered in the first reply of a topic. 17. This is not the place for private conversations; if you would like to contact another member privately, please hit the PM (Private Message) button. 18. If you receive spam via private messages, please contact the administration and we will take care of it. Any PMs from someone you don't know well or at all advertising a site should be forwarded with a picture of the message to an admin for investigation. 19. The staff reserve the right to edit your posts and topics, if necessary and without warning. <br><br> <b><u>Avatar/Signature Rules</u></b> 1. Your avatar must be no more than 100 pixels by 100 pixels. 2. No spoiler pictures or spoiler quotes in either your av or sig. 3. You may have flashing/animated signatures and avatars. 4. Banners in signatures must be no more than 500 pixels by 200 pixels. If you have 2 banners, then together, they must equal the maximum size of 500 by 200. 5. A signature may have at the most, 12 lines of text, and this includes blank lines. If you have also a banner, the amount of text is reduced to six lines. 6. You may have advertisements in your av and sig. 7. The administration reserves the right to edit/remove your sig/av. <br><br> <b><u>Account Rules</u></b> 1. Each user is responsible for any and all activity performed on their account. 2. Usernames must adhere to the general rules of the boards. No profanity, obscene language, or personal attacks are allowed in usernames. Names which could easily mislead members into thinking that you are a different member or administrator are not allowed. Usernames should be kept short. The administration may ask you to choose a new name to which your account will be renamed. 3. The use of multiple accounts to bypass punishments such as, but not limited to, posting restrictions, suspension, or bans is strictly prohibited. <br><br> <b><u>Staff</u></b> Absolutely no bashing of the administration.
